Overview

The Central California Association for Health Care Recruitment (CCAHCR) is an organization of health care recruitment professionals from hospitals and clinics in Central California. CCAHCR is a chapter of the National Association for Health Care Recruitment (NAHCR) - the leader in national recruitment and retention issues. NAHCR provides it's members with a national network of professional resources, information on current industry trends, a yearly survey of the national picture, and workshops focused on recruitment and retention needs.

Purpose

The purpose of the association is to promote and exchange sound professional principles of health care recruitment, which may be employed by its members for their mutual betterment and professional advancement.

Benefits of joining CCAHCR

CCAHCR meets bimonthly to bring together an invaluable network of recruitment professionals and provide a forum in which to discuss the practice of health care recruitment and retention issues within Central California. The chapter has been active in promoting health care careers to high school and college students. Several of our members are or have been active in the national organization serving as officers or committee members.

At bi-monthly meetings, members and guest speakers address such issues as:

  • Health care trends

  • Health care legislative issues

  • Recruitment / retention

  • Employment and labor relations

  • Career growth and development

  • Marketing strategies
