Benefits of joining CCAHCR

CCAHCR meets bimonthly to bring together an invaluable network of recruitment professionals and provide a forum in which to discuss the practice of health care recruitment and retention issues within Central California. The chapter has been active in promoting health care careers to high school and college students. Several of our members are or have been active in the national organization serving as officers or committee members.

At bi-monthly meetings, members and guest speakers address such issues as:

• Health care trends
• Health care legislative issues
• Recruitment / retention
• Employment and labor relations
• Career growth and development
• Marketing strategies

Requirements

Applicants for active membership must be employed by a voluntary, proprietary, or government health care organization.  The applicant must be currently engaged in some health care recruitment and/or retention activity, such as health care recruiter, or be the manager of a recognized health care recruitment program.  Staffing agency employees are not eligible for active membership.

If you are involved in the recruitment and retention of health care employees and would like to become a member of the CCAHCR network, please contact Christy Sanders, CCAHCR Treasurer, at 559-353-5015. New membership is encouraged and guests are welcome to attend meetings. A small fee to cover lunch costs may be requested after attending more than one meeting without paid membership. Annual CCAHCR membership fee is $50 per person or $250 for 5 or more recruiters from the same place of employment. Annual NAHCR fee (optional) is $135 per person and $99 for each additional member at the same facility.
